These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CrystalKoru website located at crystalkoru.com ("Platform"), operated by CrystalKoru ("we", "us", "our"). If we discover or have reason to believe that a user is under the age of 18, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate that user's access without prior notice. 4. Virtual Currency and Items
CrystalKoru may provide virtual credits, tokens, coins, points, or other virtual items ("Virtual Currency") as part of the social gaming experience on our Platform. You expressly acknowledge and agree to the following regarding Virtual Currency:
- No real money value: Virtual Currency has absolutely no real-world monetary value. It cannot be bought, sold, traded, or exchanged for real money, goods, services, or any other item of tangible value under any circumstances.
- No cash redemption: Virtual Currency cannot be redeemed, refunded, or converted into cash, credit, or any form of real currency. There is no mechanism on our Platform that enables such conversion, and any external attempt to do so is strictly prohibited.
- Non-transferable: Virtual Currency is non-transferable between users. You may not gift, donate, sell, or otherwise distribute Virtual Currency to any other person or entity.
- Platform discretion: We reserve the right to manage, modify, adjust, or remove Virtual Currency at any time without prior notice and without any obligation to compensate you. This includes the right to reset Virtual Currency balances, adjust earning rates, or discontinue Virtual Currency features entirely.
- No winnings or prizes: Any Virtual Currency accumulated through gameplay does not constitute a winning, prize, or reward of any kind. It exists solely to enhance the entertainment value of your social gaming experience.
- No proprietary rights: You do not own Virtual Currency. It remains the property of CrystalKoru at all times. Your use of Virtual Currency is a limited, revocable licence granted under these Terms.
CrystalKoru does not facilitate, encourage, or permit any form of real money gambling, wagering, or betting. Our Platform is a social gaming environment for entertainment purposes only.
5. Prohibited Activities
When using CrystalKoru, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:
- Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, other user accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Platform

- Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely stating or misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity
- Harassing, threatening, bullying, or intimidating other users of the Platform
- Posting, transmitting, or distributing content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, hateful, or otherwise objectionable
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code of the Platform or any of its components
- Circumventing or attempting to circumvent the age verification measures implemented on the Platform
- Using the Platform in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Platform's functionality
Violation of any of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access to the Platform, and we reserve the right to pursue any legal remedies available to us.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, features, and functionality on the CrystalKoru Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, video, data compilations, software, game designs, user interface designs, and the selection and arrangement thereof — are the exclusive property of CrystalKoru or its licensors and are protected by New Zealand and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. The CrystalKoru name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of CrystalKoru. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only. This licence does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform or its content without our express written consent.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The CrystalKoru Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, CrystalKoru expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that the results obtained from use of the Platform will be accurate or reliable. We do not warrant that the quality of any games, information, or other material obtained through the Platform will meet your expectations. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from CrystalKoru or through the Platform shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms. You acknowledge that your use of the Platform is at your sole risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable New Zealand law, CrystalKoru, its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the Platform; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Platform; (c) any content obtained from the Platform; or (d) unauthorised access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform exceed one hundred New Zealand dollars (NZD $100). The limitations of liability set forth in this section shall apply regardless of the form of action, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal or equitable theory, and whether or not CrystalKoru has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand for the resolution of any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform. Any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to your use of the Platform must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or it shall be forever barred. The provisions of the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, and other applicable consumer protection legislation shall apply to the extent required by law and are not excluded by these Terms. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation that cannot be lawfully excluded.
10. Changes to Terms
CrystalKoru reserves the right to revise, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time and at our sole discretion. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page to reflect the date of the most recent revision. We may also notify users of material changes through a prominent notice on our Platform. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly. Your continued access to or use of the Platform after any revisions become effective constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised Terms. 11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction in New Zealand, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent, or if modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
